Swedish wood announced as BIID platinum partner

The British Institute of Interior Design (BIID) provide a Platinum Partner programme for Industry Partners wishing to work closely with the Institute and Swedish Wood have become their latest member.
Swedish Wood are celebrating their new partnership by giving BIID members a quick introduction to designing with wood and a number of CPD modules developed and hosted in collaboration with Wood Campus.

CPC Modules – Learn Online

CPD Wood in Interiors – Developed in collaboration with the Timber Trade Federation, the British Woodworking Federation and Swedish Wood. Covering key topics including sustainable interior design, panelling, flooring, doors, stairs, moulding and furniture inspiration.
CPD Procuring Sustainable Timber – Developed in collaboration the Timber Trade Federation the course provides a broad awareness of forest legality and sustainability issues, roles of certification, governmental requirements and how to specify and procure legal and sustainable timber.
CPD Wood CO2ts Less – Developed in collaboration with Wood for Good this short online learning module provides the main arguments for using wood to reduce CO2 emissions, including source materials to substantiate the claims made.
To help inspire BIID members Swedish Wood are offering members free access to read and download their inspirational design magazine, Trä!
